I am happy to announce the opening of Miss Moose’s Painterly Establishment, an art and photography studio located downtown. We aim for quirky, personable, artistic portraits (if you’re familiar with Dada, you already have a good idea!) and it’s all for a good cause- the Establishment is part of the local group of businesses that support The Geek Group.

Since we’re brand new, we are going to be running a special for the month of July. Book a sesson and the sitting fee is only $30! That gets you one hour, with up to three people and three costume changes. After editing the photos, you will get digital proofs – it will likely be between 20 and 30 images – that you are completely free to use as you want. All prints from that photo shoot will be 50% off with a minimum order of only $10. There will also be a couple of print packages and samples for you to see when you visit for your session.

We’re also gearing up for the next school year, so if you happen to be a 2010 graduate, you should let us know! We will be running specials in August and September for senior portraits and there will be a bonus for any seniors who contact us about it beforehand.
