Usually when I take photos, I prefer to not look at them until a few days later. If I take photos and then immediately edit them, it feels too rushed. I check things on the viewscreen and examine carefully – but sometimes that isn’t enough.
I certainly understand the value of using a laptop tethered to the camera. It has a much bigger viewscreen and lets you see more detail. I, however, do not have a laptop that could handle such a thing. So it’s just the camera.
And sometimes you get a really great shot, and don’t realise until the next day that you had part of the surface the camera was sitting on in the shot.
Oh well.
